Hello and welcome back to all friends, students, parents and carers from 4/5/6 SNC!
Welcome back to what is traditionally a busy, fun and super productive term. This term will include our inquiry projects (‘making a difference’), MTQ (Maths Talent Quest) and the Maths Olympiad competition, drama rehearsals continuing and our debating program will also begin; plus of course maths, writing, reading, philosophy, gardening, Curiosita, P.E…the list goes on! We will finish the term with Learning journals and 3 way conferences – should be a great term.
A reminder Melissa will be replacing Kristy whilst she is on leave for the first 3 weeks of term. Also – for our term 2 timetable, click here: Our Timetable
A few other messages:
Congratulations to Roma who has been selected as BEPS ‘Student Principal’ and also to our SNC Junior School Council Representatives (Sienna, Leroy, Bintu and Ethan). Well done to all students who applied – those that applied did a fantastic job with their speeches and ‘had a go’ which is what we love to see.
Year 6 Transition
Today students will bring home their secondary preference forms. These forms, supplied by the department of education, outline the process to select your High School Preferences for next year. Students and families need to return the form to BEPS by 11th May. If your family is still away or has lost your form, feel free to visit the office or email us for another copy.
Also – another big thank you to everyone who helped out at our first SNC Friday market– we raised an amazing $561.20!!! Half will go to the Learning Community for books and resources, and half to the school.
