The last two weeks have flown by with some great learning occurring!
For example, today’s pictures capture our writers responding to some persuasive text prompts. See below:
‘Making a difference’ projects
The students inquiry projects are picking up steam and there is a buzz in the learning community, as they have formed student action teams, begun collaborating, problem solving and collecting the relevant data needed for their actions to occur. In some cases this involves students having at go at emailing organisations, managing a budget and even planning an excursion! Stay tuned for more on this shortly.
And a few reminders…
Learning Journals – Year 5 and Year 6
It’s that time again! We reminded the students today that we are collecting learning 2017 journals from Year 5 and Year 6 students. Thanks to those families who have already returned theirs. If your child can bring these back Monday, that would be most helpful.
Year 6 Transition
A reminder that forms for High School Preferences need to be returned the form to BEPS by 11th May. If your family is still away or has lost your form, feel free to visit the office or email us for another copy.
If your child is participating this year, the maths olympiad permission form and money needs to be returned to school. We have more copies if your child needs another one.
Mark it in your diaries – our next SNC market will be in Week 7 (Friday 1st of June). It will be ‘officially’ managed by ‘46E’ (Andrew and Dani’s admin group) but, as always, all students and parents from SNC are welcome to contribute!
