Welcome one and all!

A huge welcome back to you and your family! We hope you had a restful and relaxing summer and that everyone is ready for a fantastic year of learning in 2019.

456 ‘Su Nei Cieli’

This is translated from Italian, meaning ‘up in the clouds’. Over the next few weeks, we want to ensure all children build relationships, make new friends and feel a sense of belonging to their 2019 456 SNC learning community.

Communication in 2019

Working in an LC means your child is lucky enough to have four main teachers this year: Clare, Mel, Dean and Andrew. This year Clare will be team leader and Andrew and Mel will be job sharing. As per other years, we have a team email address. One teacher will then ensure your enquiry is answered within 24 hours. Also, 3 Way Conferences will again be managed by your child’s Administration Teacher – your child will be informed of their admin teachers today. And of course, for general ‘day-to-day chats’, please feel free to talk to any of us. For all correspondence, please email: snclc@beps.vic.edu.au

Also, don’t forget to check our updated blog for latest news and upcoming events –please bookmark this link https://sncbeps.wordpress.com

We will endeavour to make our blog our ‘communication portal’, with frequent posts from teachers detailing the learning that occurs. We are also hoping to have a student-led blog as well.

‘Open House’- this Thursday 31/1/19

This Thursday afternoon (31st January) we will be holding an Open LC afternoon – you are most welcome to attend! The Learning Community will be open from 3:30 until 6. The teaching team will be available to meet you, have a chat, and discuss anything you would like to mention. We have taught many of your children before, which is exciting for us! For those new faces (teachers, children and parents) we will send out more information about the new SNC team shortly.

We look forward to getting to know you and your family as part of our learning community,

Kind regards,

Team 456 SNC  Clare, Mel, Andrew and Dean 🙂
